The Wild Shamrock Touring Theatre<\/p>\n
Three young actors, Irish dialect and a lot of fun. This was the \u201cWild Shamrock Touring Theatre\u201d with their show \u201cThe Writers in the Stars\u201d at our FOS\/BOS in Scheyern this year. <\/strong><\/p>\n „For years the \u201cWild Shamrock Touring Theatre\u201d from Ireland has come to Scheyern.<\/p>\n[aesop_image img=“https:\/\/bos-scheyern.de\/sz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/Unbenannt.png“ align=“right“ lightbox=“on“ captionposition=“left“ revealfx=“off“]\n This year they performed for us a theatre programme called \u201cThe Writers in the Stars\u201d. The show was about Oscar Wilde,\u00a0Ernest Hemingway, William Shakespeare and Mary Shelley meeting in heaven to discuss who of them is the biggest story writer in history. After we students had got a short insight in the best known work of each of the famous writers, we had to decide which story they should show us completely. Then the three actors gave us a very funny and modern version of Romeo and Julia. The fact, that all of the acts were made with a little bit of irony, created an interesting story for the spectators. The \u2018grand\u2019 finale was the Irish version of our Bavarian \u201cSchuhplattler\u201d-the German clockwinder.<\/p>\n\n Normally students don\u2019t like things like drama at school because most of the time it is very boring. But the \u201cWild Shamrock Touring Theatre\u201d created funny and interesting two hours for all of us. For the next generation at our school I hope they will come again and perform, because this will also be a great event for you. The three Irish actors slipped into different roles to perform scenes from the greatest oeuvres written by Oscar Wilde, Ernest Hemingway, William Shakespeare, Mary Shelley and Emily Bront\u00eb. This might seem to be very difficult for students, but quite the contrary was true.<\/p>\n Firstly I loved the humorous way of introducing the actors\u2018 roles. A second positive impression was the props-free performance of the artists. At the end it was very amusing to see the actors interact with the crowd playing a traditional song named \u201eThe German clockwinder\u201c. However, it was sometimes hard to understand them acoustically, especially when they turned away from the audience. In summary I really enjoyed the visit and I recommend it.
