„Who remembers the time, when Super Mario has to save Princess Peach from the claws of Bowser?“ Earlier there has been a manageable number of computer games, while today there are too many games to have an overview of all of them. But there are not only violent games like „Call of Duty“ or MMORPGs (Massive Multi player Online Role play Game) like „World of Warcraft“ or „Guild Wars“, we also have programs which improve the kids’ ability to learn. These learning games mainly influence children at the age of about 7 to 13 years.

They improve the ability of learning, reacting, and increase the ability of speaking different languages like English, Spanish and French, because they are available in different languages. Of course you have to play them in a foreign language.

Especially for children and teenies, the market of different computer games has become too big in the last years.

For the first meeting with letters, games are available in the stores which can help toddlers to improve their skills and as long as you don´t exaggerate the time playing and  perceive your duties, there is no bad thing about playing games sometimes.

A scientist at Deakin University in Australia found out that children who grew up with interactive video games had a better motor activity. They have a better hand-eye-coordination and perform better in the ability to see things three-dimensionally than same aged children who don´t play computer games.
