Fitness has become more popular in the last few years. In the last five years the number of gyms has quadrupled. Nowadays they not only offer weight training, but also classes such as aerobics, pilates and yoga. There are also spa treatments, saunas, steam baths and solariums.

Memberships are adjusted to every person individually, which means that you can choose between an all-inclusive contract or you can renounce to spa treatments and classes and only decide on muscle and weight training. Individually edited training schedules are developed in the gyms. For recovering after the fitness training gyms offer a wide range of protein preparations at a fitness candy bar. In most gyms drinks such as coffee or sodas for recreation are served.

The way gyms have developed in the last years, they not only pay attention to exercising, but also to the whole service package. A further service is the opening hours. In order to make it possible for everybody to go the gym no matter at what time of the day many gyms are open almost 24 hours 7 days a week. Not only can you go anytime you want, but you can also exercise as long as you want to.
